Task Description
Ç This project involves the development of an integrated system that will support all the production procedure of a product, from the order until the technical support stage. The system will be applied to Kleemann and it will support its internal processes as well as the collaboration with its clients. The overall system will be composed of four major modules:
• A product configuration module (configurator), which is fed with orders from the existing order/entry system and by using intelligent algorithms, provides the optimal design solutions for the enterprise.
• A visual representation module that provides visual representation of the integrated products. This module will include an intelligent mechanism for interacting with the configurator aiming at the implementation of business rules during the product’s visualization process. Furthermore, this module will incorporate a 3D search engine that facilitates users to compose their order.
The project aims at the provision of personalized product to the immediate customers (technical or installation offices) as well as to the final clients (individuals, house-builders) through the reinforcement of the business environment of a large industrial enterprise using e-business tools and added-value technological services.
